The Heavy Duty Tee Hinge is ideal for installing and reinforcing gates, shed doors, barn doors or other heavy doors. Exterior hinges are typically installed in a pair, one at the top and one at the bottom when mounting to wood doors and frames. In the case of a door with heavy weight, a third tee hinge is recommended in the middle for optimal support.
